Following a successful first gathering in Indianapolis in 2014, the Atlanta consortium assembled presenters, ritualists, artists, and musicians exploring occult and esoteric practice from a Left Hand Path perspective. The program combined scholarly presentations, ceremonial workings, an art show, live performances, and exhibitor tables across the three-day event at the Sheraton Atlanta Airport Hotel.

The Atlanta consortium was organized as a gathering point for the international Left Hand Path community — a self-described occult and esoteric tradition — bringing presenters, ritualists, artists, exhibitors, and musicians together under one roof for three days of programming, book signings, mixers, and the closing masked ball.

A note was posted regarding changes to the presenter lineup: Augustus Sol Invictus and Brian Werner were removed from the schedule prior to the event because of their own public statements.

The International Left Hand Path Consortium began as a focused gathering for practitioners and thinkers who approach esoteric work from an individualistic, self-directed perspective. Rather than following conventional spiritual hierarchies, Left Hand Path traditions emphasize personal sovereignty, direct experience, and the exploration of consciousness through ritual, symbolism, and creative expression. This foundation shapes every aspect of the Consortium’s programming, from scholarly lectures to immersive ceremonial work.

Presentations at the Consortium span a wide range of topics rooted in occult philosophy, comparative mythology, and practical magick. Speakers draw from traditions that include chaos magick, Luciferian currents, and ceremonial systems, offering attendees a rare opportunity to engage with advanced material in a setting that values intellectual rigor alongside experiential depth. Each talk is designed to provoke thought and invite further personal exploration long after the event concludes.

Art and music hold a central place in the Consortium experience. Visual artists working with dark, symbolic, and archetypal imagery exhibit their work throughout the venue, while musicians perform sets that range from ambient ritual soundscapes to more structured compositions. These creative elements are not merely entertainment; they function as extensions of the ritual atmosphere, reinforcing the themes of transformation and self-discovery that define the gathering.

Live rituals form one of the most distinctive features of the event. Unlike purely academic conferences, the Consortium creates space for embodied practice, allowing participants to witness or take part in ceremonial workings led by experienced practitioners. These rituals vary in style and tradition but share a common emphasis on direct engagement with symbolic forces, offering a visceral counterpoint to the daytime lecture program.

The masked ball is a signature social event that blends elegance with esoteric symbolism. Attendees don masks and formal attire, stepping into a liminal space where identity becomes fluid and the boundaries between performer and participant soften. The evening includes music, dance, and an atmosphere of heightened mystery, serving as both a celebration and a continuation of the ritual themes explored throughout the conference.

The Consortium also serves as a marketplace of ideas and materials, where independent authors, artisans, and publishers present works that are often difficult to find through mainstream channels. Books on occult philosophy, handcrafted ritual tools, and original artwork change hands in an environment that supports the broader Left Hand Path community. These exchanges help sustain the network of creators and thinkers who operate outside conventional spiritual and academic frameworks.

Atlanta provided a fitting backdrop for the gathering, with its rich cultural landscape and accessible travel infrastructure. The hotel venue offered dedicated conference spaces that allowed the event to maintain a contained, immersive atmosphere while still providing comfort and convenience for attendees traveling from across the country and abroad. The setting supported both focused daytime sessions and the more expansive social and ritual activities of the evening program.

The Consortium continues to represent a rare convergence of scholarship, artistry, and lived esoteric practice within the Left Hand Path milieu. By bringing together diverse voices and traditions under one roof, the event fosters dialogue that crosses boundaries of lineage and methodology while maintaining a shared commitment to individual empowerment and the fearless exploration of hidden dimensions of the self.
